Butterbeer Cork Necklace Tutorial

Are Nargles bothering you? I have created a tried-and-true Nargle Warding Charm! It simple, easy, and cheap. The directions are as follows:

Materials:
-Corks (preferably with a very small logo, and, if you like, a line around each end)
-Sandpaper (any kind works--I used really coarse paper, but I've used really fine stuff before)
-String
-Pin
-As many eye pins as you have corks
-A brown pen (optional)

Step one: Sand off the logo on the cork. Leave some of the designs if you like.

Step two: Poke the pin into the cork to create a hole. Push it in as far as you can and twirl it around a little bit before pulling it back out.

Step three: Push the eye pin all the way into the hole. You may need to trim it a little bit to get it to fit.

Step four: You can write BUTTERBEER on the cork with the pen if you like, but otherwise just but the string through the eye of the pin and wear it! If you want the charm to look like Luna's in the movies, put a whole bunch of pale blue seed beads onto two strands of thread and put them through the pin. A picture follows (you can't see the cork, but you can see the two strands of blue beads).
Ta-da! No more Nargles!

The Blogger post-writer thing is malfunctioning, so I'd better end now....

-Liese.

P.S. Soon (tomorrow?) I'll post my version of those amazingly awesome earrings.
